Advanced Features
Stacking | Donate to the greater good and Stack < item > to sacrifice something to your team's pile. Items donated this way may be arranged in a tower formation on the stack page in an aim to boost your team's hunt success rate. Any player who has managed to unlock the stacking ability will have edit access to the team's stack and will need to work out the relative weights of items to build higher and higher. For every 5 unique items stacked up, the team will benefit from a +1% hunt success rate bonus.
Sunny Days | Although a rare occurrence, you might see the text "It's a sunny day." as you play InterMission. This note indicates that the hunt action cool down for that day has a quicker recovery, which allows players to hunt more frequently, and as such, progress faster in the game on those days. These events occur randomly.
Item Crates | There are various types of crates to be found in InterMission. Players may Use < crate type > with these consumable items to release 1-3 random items. Noting some are faction or rarity specific, depending on the crate, different items will be found. Hulk SMASH!
Experience | As players hunt for goods, they will slowly open up the ability to trade with and accept goods from other factions. This opens possibilities for mid and late game exchanges using the Give command. Brand new players unaccustomed to the ways of other factions will reject gifts or trade offers without a moment's thought.
Allies | Players are often safest in their home territory, due to the influence of nearby allied players during attempted robberies. Allies are also helpful, as they may have different levels of experience and can be safer to trade with, without fear of any robbery attempts. (Allied players cannot rob one another.) Note: You may look at a player's bag to determine which faction they're with.
Enemies | During the course of the game, players may find themselves at odds with another player. If so, they may optionally declare one Enemy and will actively band together with all other players sharing the same enemy (even of different factions) to share in the combined attack/defence bonuses, as if those players were their allies, provided they're in the same territory.
Awards | At the end of each month, final statistics are revealed showing the winning faction and this team's top 3 players will receive permanent award badges for their contributions; visible on the player's bag page as a surviving trophy of the player's success, even as their character is wiped (incl. items & experience) and recreated from scratch each month. Also, anyone netting an award title will show this on their bag page for the next month (until next character reset); a thing of pride!
Mile High Club | Any player dedicated enough to reach 1,000 hunts in any single month will get the coveted mile high club indicator next to their name. This won't go away on character reset, so once you've got it, then it's yours to keep.
Tip 2 | Be lazy! When using commands, abbreviations are permitted to allow easier referencing. (e.g. Instead of "!give SpacknifelsPT rocket launcher", try "g Spa rocke".) But, be wise when using this command. If there are multiple matches, it will guess the shortest match, so don't be too lazy.
