COASTER

I imagined it as some
terrible roller coaster
the tracks clanking and slipping into place
dragging an ascent.
When at the top,
a terrific view opened itself
like pandora's box
quickly this was replaced
and an unfamiliar gravity
I obtained and twas fearsome.
Grey hairs extruded and each joint
pulled from its position juxtaposed
and paining until the momentum
overcame the patron
